ITG Group (International Textile Giamminola) was founded by Giorgio Giamminola in 1967. His journey started in Como, Italy where he finds work at a very young age at a textile loom machine manufacturing company in the machine assembly line. It is here at OMITA S.p.A. that Giorgio develops interest and passion for textile industry.

After a decade of hard work in this company, his ambitions brings him to sales in which he discovers great talent. Selling mainly in Italy and Africa representing different companies. In 1967 Giorgio makes a name for himself and decides to open his own company, Giorgio Giamminola & C S.R.L.

It is then after 20 years of dedication that he acquires OMITA S.p.A, taking advantage of all its exclusive sale of weaving spare parts worldwide

Thanks to his 4 sons, the company has now expanded world wide with establishment of subsidiaries:
from Europe to Africa, from Central and South America to Asia, specializing and distributing its products internationally.

In 2014, ITG Group underwent a significant transformation, evolving towards a corporate profile with a clear vision: to transcend boundaries and expand our market into new sectors within the textile industry. This change marked the beginning of a new era for our company, where innovation and excellence became fundamental pillars of our mission. Since then, we have been committed to constantly seeking opportunities to grow and prosper in an ever-changing world

Today, ITG Group comprises 7 international offices and is present worldwide through an extensive network of commercial agents and distributors, all with a common goal: "Work together to continue weaving on the success of our customers around the world.”
